Before transitioning to roles centred on building human capability, Sean Irvine built a robust foundation as an engineer and operations leader, holding qualifications in manufacturing engineering (BEng hons) and business (MBA). With 26 years of experience in the manufacturing industry, Sean has successfully led various functions, teams, and operations, gaining expertise in both large corporates and SMEs. 

Over the past decade, Sean has dedicated his career to serving as both an internal and external organisational coach, organisational culture change leader, team coach, and executive coach. Notably, he plays a crucial role in training team practitioners in the art and science of team coaching through the 6 Team Conditions Global. Sean's core belief centres around the importance of Team Design and Consultation in fostering collaboration. He emphasises building the foundational conditions for effective teams, creating psychologically safe environments, and providing timely team coaching that focuses on motivation, strategies, and learning.

Hailing from Northern Ireland and having experienced the Troubles during his upbringing, Sean's perspective has been broadened to navigate complex environments.
