Level 1

Foundational Team Practitioner Certification: Assess Team Effectiveness

Become certified to deploy the most scientifically rigorous of team assessments, the Team Diagnostic Survey™. Instead of relying on intuition or on simple tools about behaviors and dysfunctions, learn the science of the 6 Conditions and focus on the real leverage points for creating great teams. This self-paced video-based program teaches a powerful method for assessing any team’s effectiveness and honing in on priorities for team development. With data-driven insights to guide your work, you can be confident that your coaching will have real impact on team performance—and that impact will be visible to the teams and leaders you coach. You will gain facility applying the 6 Conditions framework, practice interpreting the Team Diagnostic Survey™, learn to debrief teams and team leaders, and enter an extraordinary global Community of Practice—all preparing you to bring the best team science to your team development practice.

Level 2

Advanced Team Coach Training Program (Online or In-Person)

Hone and deepen your team development skills in this practice-based course. Bring the science of the 6 Conditions and Team Diagnostic Survey to life with artful team interventions. You will gain knowledge of how to support teams in reimagining the 6 Conditions for their work and context, and a repertoire for guiding them in that work. See master practitioners demonstrate team coaching approaches and lead dialogues with teams as they redesign their essential conditions. Build and sequence team development interventions; practice new techniques with experienced colleagues; and receive real-time coaching as you learn. You will walk away from the Advanced Team Coaching program with a rich toolkit of techniques, confidence in the arc of your team coaching work, and connections with an inspiring community of team practitioners from around the world.

Level 3

Master Team Coach Training Program (In-Person)

Take teams from good to superb. Join Drs. Ruth Wageman, Melissa J. Sayer and Krister Lowe to extend your skills in providing ongoing coaching to teams. Explore and practice hands-on coaching that helps teams become much more than the sum of their parts. Experience and practice reliable approaches to fostering team motivation, crafting intentional team task strategies, and leveraging opportunities for learning. Map the arc of a team development journey from reimagining and relaunching the team through cycles of learning that develop a team’s self-coaching capabilities. Develop your signature presence as a team coach. Connect and collaborate in a beautiful setting with extraordinary practitioners who bring word-class science and artful practice to their work with teams.

In-house Team Coach Training Programs

We can customize our Level 1, 2 and 3 programs to fit your organization’s unique context. We provide ongoing support for internal team practitioners, and work alongside your internal team to align team outcomes to the organizational agenda.

Team Practitioner Supervision

We offer group or 1:1 supervision sessions for coaches working with complex teams or those new to the 6 Team Conditions. Each participant brings at least one 6TC team client case for group supervision, reflection & consultation. The benefits include ICF/ EMCC recognition, enhanced skill set and increase confidence in handling complex group dynamics.

Qualify for Continuing Coach Education

When you complete the Level 1 Foundational and Level 2 Advanced Practitioner certification programs you will qualify for 18 ICF CCE units.
