Ruth Wageman
Core Team

Ruth believes that the most important problems and aspirations of our time can only be addressed by brilliant collaborations. She is one of the foremost scholars and practitioners studying and working with teams, especially leadership teams. The core of Ruth’s research has been focused on the conditions that influence superb team performance, resulting in the 6 Team Conditions. Ruth’s current work focuses on building collaborative leadership capacity within and across organizations, studying and working with teams whose purpose is to solve complex problems and lead system transformation. Ruth has been a professor at Columbia, Dartmouth, and Harvard. Widely published in both academia and in the business press, Ruth wrote “Senior Leadership Teams: What it Takes to Make them Great,” (HBS Press) with Deb Nunes, Jim Burruss, and Richard Hackman, as well as many widely cited articles in Organization Science, Administrative Science Quarterly, Academy of Management Review and Journal of Organizational Behavior. Ruth designed the Team Diagnostic Survey with Richard Hackman and Erin Lehman. She loves to cook, is a huge science fiction fan, and rides horses whenever she can.

Juliane is energized by the impact that effective teams can have on organizational ecosystems. She is an experienced coach, consultant, and facilitator, and has dedicated her career to supporting organizations, teams, and individuals in change. Her passion for the science behind organizational psychology and belief in its impact, led to her becoming an executive and team coach and organizational development consultant. Juliane's career has spanned industries, from non-profit and government to global retail, where she consulted in change management during industry turmoil. She has provided leadership development training and team coaching to startups and industrial organizations, and built an executive coaching practice working with leaders around the world. Juliane is passionate about the difference the 6 Conditions can make for an organization and its stakeholders. Melissa J. Sayer
Core Team

Melissa has 20 years of business experience across multiple industries at senior leadership and board level. Melissa is from a professional advisory background in the London property industry, with 12 years advising, consulting and coaching large-sized companies with organisational development, strategy and leadership challenges. She is focused on providing solutions that can be practically implemented and grounded in scholarly research. Melissa partners with organisations to deliver sustainable organisational change and performance through coaching. Her approach is to work with organisations to develop the internal talent and leadership to enable organisations to deliver on their strategic agenda. Melissa supports leaders, managers and teams to improve performance through developing skills, confidence and focus. Nominated by Trinity Business School to an adjunct professor role, she teaches on their MBA and executive education programmes. Melissa holds a DBA from Portsmouth Business School, where she researched the contribution of team coaching to organisational learning.

Gabe Abella

Gabe’s personal purpose is to make the world of work a respectful and rewarding place for everyone. This purpose serves as motivation for integrating a diverse array of coaching capabilities that enables Gabe to effectively engage with every level of an organization spanning individual contributors, teams, team leaders, teams-of-teams, executives, and executive teams. Carissa Bub

Carissa believes the quality of our relationships determines the quality of our lives. Her coaching practice is built on 20 years guiding leaders from the boardroom to the factory floor to transform how they lead, communicate and catalyse meaningful change. Her expertise is coaching Chief Executives and senior leadership teams to boldly engage all stakeholders; and developing resilient teams. Carissa partners with clients to integrate longer-term aspirations and strategy with the immediate need to build relationships founded on psychological safety, transparency and openness. Often, intergenerational teams who must navigate systemic leadership challenges that typically arise during transition. She has led a network of professional facilitators under Bubworks since 2002, to develop leadership capacity in human skills essential for companies to flourish in today's VUCA environment. Carissa hosts the Team Coaching Zone podcast, drawing on her previous career as a news and current affairs broadcast journalist. Fernando Dias

Fernando loves learning challenging things that serve important needs in the world and that taps his talents. Team coaching came as a natural development and passion following his training and experience as an executive ontological coach and his 14 years’ work as a group coach, facilitator and faculty using Insights Discovery with teams at major pharmaceutical and fashion companies, hotel chains and other large multinationals in several industries and countries. He's translated the Team Diagnostic Survey into Portuguese and Spanish and has been applying its methodology with teams at all levels of his clients' organizations. Fernando is the host of the Team Coaching Zone podcasts in Portuguese and Spanish to be launched by mid-2019, which will explore the art and science of the team coaching practiced in the Iberian Peninsula and in Latin America. He’s married to Karin, and has a lovely daughter, Gabriela. Fernando is a keen surfer, snowboarder, diver and yoga practitioner, he loves nature and the great outdoors, and always tries to get to know the local culture and food wherever his busy professional life takes him.

Harvey Floyd II

Harvey Floyd II is an organizational psychologist, senior executive coach and university lecturer who specializes in the areas of diversity and inclusion, leading and managing complex change, executive development, and team performance. Currently, Harvey holds Lecturer positions in the University of Pennsylvania’s Master of Science in Organizational Dynamics Program, and the Wharton School’s Aresty Institute of Executive Education where he teaches on Diversity and Inclusion in 21 Century Organizations, High Performance Teams, Collaboration for the New World of Work, and Strategic Persuasion. As an Executive Coach at the Wharton School, Harvey coaches cross-sector leaders in signature programs including, the MBA, Executive MBA, and General Management Program, and serves as a Lead Executive Coach for the Executive Development Program. Sandra Hayes

Sandra Hayes has a strong interest in individuals and teams, helping them to learn to work more effectively in increasingly complex systems. She sees developing inclusive leaders, who are able to engage people with diverse experiences and perspectives, as critical for helping today’s organizational systems grow and thrive. Sandra draws upon significant coaching, consulting, and leadership development experience, working in a wide variety of industries, including not-for-profit, education, finance and health care. Some of the organizations she has worked with include: Columbia University, NYU, Johnson & Johnson, Pfizer, American Express, Reuters, the United Nations, UNICEF, and the Rockefeller Brothers Fund. Sean Irvine

Sean is an engaging and accomplished organisational and leadership consultant. He specialises in optimising, relaunching and coaching teams and their leaders, to reach increased levels of effectiveness. Combining practical experience, training and robust scientific analysis, Sean uses both his natural leadership abilities, along with validated coaching and consulting methodologies, to identify and improve the underling conditions that optimise team and organisational performance, creating environments that drive effective change. Krish Iyer

Krish has worked for over 3 decades across several organizations globally such as 3M and SAP, as a catalyst for transformational growth in teams & organizations. Krish’s wide experience enables him to bring a practitioners approach to his coaching engagements, and is most passionate about engaging with teams in their journey of transformation. Andrew Madams

Working around his belief that individuals make the team, and the team make the organisation, Andrew’s practice focuses on both business performance and individual effectiveness and wellbeing, bringing outstanding and sustainable changes in behaviour and results. He has over 20 years of global business and consulting experience, working across multiple disciplines, industries, and countries. As well as leading a regional consulting team within a global firm, he worked with executives and teams across Asia Pacific in the areas of executive assessment, team alignment and leadership development. He now continues this work with his own firms in Australia, and has a strong interest in supporting the arts and mental health sectors. Josephine Palermo

Josephine believes we should demand more from our business culture by shaping it purposefully through signature experiences for customers and employees. She has a PhD in Organisational Psychology and numerous publications in areas organisational development, action research and change, coaching and leadership. Her superpower is in transforming business cultures, team by team. With decades of senior leadership experience, she has held many leadership roles both in public and private sector organisations and as an academic and researcher. Recently, whilst working for Australia’s largest telecommunications provider leading strategic change and customer experience, she delivered a $5 million program building leading-edge technological capability that put network performance visibility in the hands of large enterprise customers. Currently Josephine is fulfilling her lifelong ambition of entrepreneurship as Director of a number of businesses, including Geared for Growth Consulting, Higher Spaces Coworking and Melbourne Bellydance. Josephine challenges us to think differently about the meaning of work in our lives, so that we can bring our whole self to work. She loves to dance and build communities. She recently launched a podcast called Gears, Action, Growth where she discusses topics related to business culture and teams.

Andy Powell

Andy’s passion is helping individuals, teams and organizations thrive while navigating complex change and transition. He believes that effective adaptive teams and leaders are those able to intentionally access their whole selves – head, heart and guts – in service of multiple stakeholders, not just shareholders. He has over 30 years’ experience working in Organizational Development, both as an internal senior leader and in his own consultancy. Andy has worked with clients from different industries across the US and Europe leading projects ranging from culture change to post merger integration. He has most recently worked with senior leadership teams experiencing significant transition. As an ICF (PCC) certified executive coach, Andy is also part of the core faculty of the Gestalt Institute of Cleveland and their ICF accredited coaching certification program. Of late he has become interested in living systems, and how they can help today’s organizations become complex adaptive systems able to thrive in the ever-changing and interconnected global economic and technological environment. He serves as a board member of Conscious Capitalism Northeast Ohio and resides in Cleveland, Ohio. He is a messy gourmet cook, avid cyclist and ever hopeful Cleveland Browns fan.

Lisa Walker

Lisa Walker is an expert at helping leaders and leadership teams understand the intricate relationship dynamics that underpin leadership and team performance, enabling them to navigate and lead positive change.
