Ruth Wageman
Core Team

Ruth believes that the most important problems and aspirations of our time can only be addressed by brilliant collaborations. She is one of the foremost scholars and practitioners studying and working with teams, especially leadership teams. The core of Ruth’s research has been focused on the conditions that influence superb team performance, resulting in the 6 Team Conditions. Ruth’s current work focuses on building collaborative leadership capacity within and across organizations, studying and working with teams whose purpose is to solve complex problems and lead system transformation. Ruth has been a professor at Columbia, Dartmouth, and Harvard. Widely published in both academia and in the business press, Ruth wrote “Senior Leadership Teams: What it Takes to Make them Great,” (HBS Press) with Deb Nunes, Jim Burruss, and Richard Hackman, as well as many widely cited articles in Organization Science, Administrative Science Quarterly, Academy of Management Review and Journal of Organizational Behavior. Ruth designed the Team Diagnostic Survey with Richard Hackman and Erin Lehman. She loves to cook, is a huge science fiction fan, and rides horses whenever she can.

Pauline Willis

Integrative, systemic solutions for individuals, teams and organizations form the foundation for Pauline’s work in consultancy, coaching and supervision and she believes that elegant organization design is essential to effective collaboration and teamwork, which in turn is critical for creating psychologically healthy high performing workplaces. Pauline offers thought leadership in business practice underpinned by psychology which she delivers across a range of industries and sectors internationally through her consultancy and executive coaching. She has served as an industry advisor to Oxford Brookes University Business School, a Past Chair of the BPS Special Group in Coaching Psychology and as a founding Director of the EMCC & The Coaching & Mentoring Network. Innovation & excellence in the application of psychology in the workplace is recognized within the Australian Workplace Excellence Awards for which Pauline has been a Judge since 2017. Pauline loves growing edible plants and fungi as well as cooking and blending her own herbal teas. Juliane Corman

Juliane is energized by the impact that effective teams can have on organizational ecosystems. She is an experienced coach, consultant, and facilitator, and has dedicated her career to supporting organizations, teams, and individuals in change. Her passion for the science behind organizational psychology and belief in its impact, led to her becoming an executive and team coach and organizational development consultant. Juliane's career has spanned industries, from non-profit and government to global retail, where she consulted in change management during industry turmoil. She has provided leadership development training and team coaching to startups and industrial organizations, and built an executive coaching practice working with leaders around the world. Juliane is passionate about the difference the 6 Conditions can make for an organization and its stakeholders. Juliane loves to travel and experience different cultures. She lives in Brooklyn, NY, she loves watching classic movies and learning about the world through her young son.

David Matthew Prior

David is passionate about integrity as a principle that informs and guides a defined way of living, working and performing in the world. His professional experience with teams began in corporate banking (work unit teams), moving to New York theatre (performing ensembles), then leading to non-profit associations as one of the founders of the Professional & Personal Coaches Association, merging with the ICF where he served on its global Board of Directors (leadership teams). David’s current work with senior leaders in executive coaching, leadership development and team performance covers multiple industry sectors around the world. As a core instructor in Columbia University’s Coaching Program for internal and external coach practitioners, he previously served on the faculty at New York University’s Coaching Certificate Program as well as at the University of Texas at Dallas’ Executive and Professional Coaching Program. David thrives when spending time to reflect, connect and play in the beauty of natural landscapes.

Gabe Abella

Gabe’s personal purpose is to make the world of work a respectful and rewarding place for everyone. This purpose serves as motivation for integrating a diverse array of coaching capabilities that enables Gabe to effectively engage with every level of an organization spanning individual contributors, teams, team leaders, teams-of-teams, executives, and executive teams. Gabe's approach to coaching is grounded in the principles of Socio-Technical Systems theory with a focus on emergent design in pursuit of joint optimization of both the social systems and the systems of work within an organization. As a Kanban Coaching Professional (KCP), Gabe has a depth of experience in improving the organizational performance of complex systems of knowledge work at enterprise scale through humane evolutionary change that honors the contributions of all participants of the system and the needs of current and future stakeholders. Georgina Woudstra

Georgina has built a thriving executive coaching practice over a career spanning more than 25 years. She specialises in coaching Chief Executives and senior leadership teams. She ardently believes that teams have a more important role than ever to play in leading in today's unpredictable world, where organizations needs to be even more agile than ever before. Teams are all about collaboration and achieving more together than we can alone. She is also the principal of the Executive Coach Studio, a coach training school dedicated to advancing the development of coaches, especially in team coaching. Georgina Woudstra first trained as a coach in 1992. She graduated from Corporate Coach University and since then has studied with many different coaching schools developing an integrative approach. She is an ICF Master Certified Coach, and has become a leading-light in executive and team coaching. In 2010 she co-authored "Coaching Top Teams" in "Leadership Coaching: Working with Leaders to Develop Elite Performance" with Katherine Tulpa. She loves music and the arts, cooking, travel, yoga and time with her friends, family and dog

Harvey Floyd II

Harvey Floyd II is an organizational psychologist, senior executive coach and university lecturer who specializes in the areas of diversity and inclusion, leading and managing complex change, executive development, and team performance. Currently, Harvey holds Lecturer positions in the University of Pennsylvania’s Master of Science in Organizational Dynamics Program, and the Wharton School’s Aresty Institute of Executive Education where he teaches on Diversity and Inclusion in 21 Century Organizations, High Performance Teams, Collaboration for the New World of Work, and Strategic Persuasion. As an Executive Coach at the Wharton School, Harvey coaches cross-sector leaders in signature programs including, the MBA, Executive MBA, and General Management Program, and serves as a Lead Executive Coach for the Executive Development Program. Harvey is also an Adjunct Faculty in the U.S. State Department’s School of Leadership and Management at the Foreign Service Institute. Harvey is deeply committed to helping Women advance, and supporting organizations as they build inclusive, thriving cultures. Outside of work is deeply engaged in building his own team of burgeoning Changemakers, becoming a certified drone pilot, and amateur cycling.

Krish Iyer

Krish has worked for over 3 decades across several organizations globally such as 3M and SAP, as a catalyst for transformational growth in teams & organizations. Krish’s wide experience enables him to bring a practitioners approach to his coaching engagements, and is most passionate about engaging with teams in their journey of transformation. Through his coaching endeavours, Krish seeks to support individuals and teams achieve greater levels of performance, growth and fulfillment in their professional and personal spheres of life. As a coach and facilitator, he has worked with senior leadership teams across various sectors including technology start-ups and giants, banks and financial services organizations, consumer goods multinationals, quasi-governmental agencies, universities, and international developmental agencies. A Singapore national, Krish is an avid runner and meditator; when he is not pounding earth or seated in a half-lotus pose, you’re likely to find him engrossed in a book, strumming his guitar or listening to his collection of vinyl records.

Fernando Dias

Fernando loves learning challenging things that serve important needs in the world and that taps his talents. Team coaching came as a natural development and passion following his training and experience as an executive ontological coach and his 14 years’ work as a group coach, facilitator and faculty using Insights Discovery with teams at major pharmaceutical and fashion companies, hotel chains and other large multinationals in several industries and countries. He's translated the Team Diagnostic Survey into Portuguese and Spanish and has been applying its methodology with teams at all levels of his clients' organizations. Fernando is the host of the Team Coaching Zone podcasts in Portuguese and Spanish to be launched by mid-2019, which will explore the art and science of the team coaching practiced in the Iberian Peninsula and in Latin America. He’s married to Karin, and has a lovely daughter, Gabriela. Fernando is a keen surfer, snowboarder, diver and yoga practitioner, he loves nature and the great outdoors, and always tries to get to know the local culture and food wherever his busy professional life takes him.

Melissa Sayer

Melissa is the Managing Partner & Founder of The Performance HUB, a coaching and consulting business based in Ireland. She has 20 years of business experience across multiple industries at senior leadership and board level. Melissa is from a professional advisory background in the London property industry, with 12 years advising, consulting and coaching large-sized companies with organisational development, strategy and leadership challenges. She is focused on providing solutions that can be practically implemented and grounded in scholarly research. Melissa partners with organisations to deliver sustainable organisational change and performance through coaching. Her approach is to work with organisations to develop the internal talent and leadership to enable organisations to deliver on their strategic agenda. Melissa supports leaders, managers and teams to improve performance through developing skills, confidence and focus. Nominated by Trinity Business School to an adjunct professor role, she teaches on their MBA and executive education programmes. Melissa is currently a DBA candidate at Portsmouth Business School researching the contribution of team coaching to organisational learning.

Carissa believes the quality of our relationships determines the quality of our lives. Her coaching practice is built on 20 years guiding leaders from the boardroom to the factory floor to transform how they lead, communicate and catalyse meaningful change. Her expertise is coaching Chief Executives and senior leadership teams to boldly engage all stakeholders; and developing resilient teams. Carissa partners with clients to integrate longer-term aspirations and strategy with the immediate need to build relationships founded on psychological safety, transparency and openness. Often, intergenerational teams who must navigate systemic leadership challenges that typically arise during transition. She has led a network of professional facilitators under Bubworks since 2002, to develop leadership capacity in human skills essential for companies to flourish in today's VUCA environment. She is an ICF Professional Certified Coach, Team Coach and Organizational & Relationship Systems Coach. Carissa hosts the Team Coaching Zone podcast, drawing on her previous career as a news and current affairs broadcast journalist. Sean Irvine

Sean is an engaging and accomplished organisational and leadership consultant. He specialises in optimising, relaunching and coaching teams and their leaders, to reach increased levels of effectiveness. Combining practical experience, training and robust scientific analysis, Sean uses both his natural leadership abilities, along with validated coaching and consulting methodologies, to identify and improve the underling conditions that optimise team and organisational performance, creating environments that drive effective change. Sean is an accomplished operations leader and engineer with significant experience in both large corporate organizations and small to medium enterprises, and he supports start-ups and scale-up founders to creating effective teams. After 26 years in corporate leadership roles – and as an example of lifelong learning – Sean moved into the field of people performance and culture improvement, where he is now an experienced, effective coach and facilitator. Combining his real-world leadership experience with an unusual mix of skills from stand-up comedy, Sean creates energetic and outcome-oriented environments where leaders are not only engaged, but also keen to acquire and apply new learnings. Sean spends as much time as he can underwater with his video camera, both in his home, Sydney, and further afield.

Andy Powell

Andy’s passion is helping individuals, teams and organizations thrive while navigating complex change and transition. He believes that effective adaptive teams and leaders are those able to intentionally access their whole selves – head, heart and guts – in service of multiple stakeholders, not just shareholders. He has over 30 years’ experience working in Organizational Development, both as an internal senior leader and in his own consultancy. Andy has worked with clients from different industries across the US and Europe leading projects ranging from culture change to post merger integration. He has most recently worked with senior leadership teams experiencing significant transition. As an ICF (PCC) certified executive coach, Andy is also part of the core faculty of the Gestalt Institute of Cleveland and their ICF accredited coaching certification program. Of late he has become interested in living systems, and how they can help today’s organizations become complex adaptive systems able to thrive in the ever-changing and interconnected global economic and technological environment. He serves as a board member of Conscious Capitalism Northeast Ohio and resides in Cleveland, Ohio. He is a messy gourmet cook, avid cyclist and ever hopeful Cleveland Browns fan.

Andrew Madams

Working around his belief that individuals make the team, and the team make the organisation, Andrew’s practice focuses on both business performance and individual effectiveness and wellbeing, bringing outstanding and sustainable changes in behaviour and results. He has over 20 years of global business and consulting experience, working across multiple disciplines, industries, and countries. As well as leading a regional consulting team within a global firm, he worked with executives and teams across Asia Pacific in the areas of executive assessment, team alignment and leadership development. He now continues this work with his own firms in Australia, and has a strong interest in supporting the arts and mental health sectors. Outside of helping diverse and eclectic teams come together and perform, he tries to apply his practice at home with his wife and four children – typically to varying levels of success!

Josephine believes we should demand more from our business culture by shaping it purposefully through signature experiences for customers and employees. She has a PhD in Organisational Psychology and numerous publications in areas organisational development, action research and change, coaching and leadership. Her superpower is in transforming business cultures, team by team. With decades of senior leadership experience, she has held many leadership roles both in public and private sector organisations and as an academic and researcher. Recently, whilst working for Australia’s largest telecommunications provider leading strategic change and customer experience, she delivered a $5 million program building leading-edge technological capability that put network performance visibility in the hands of large enterprise customers. Currently Josephine is fulfilling her lifelong ambition of entrepreneurship as Director of a number of businesses, including Geared for Growth Consulting, Higher Spaces Coworking and Melbourne Bellydance. Josephine challenges us to think differently about the meaning of work in our lives, so that we can bring our whole self to work. She loves to dance and build communities. She recently launched a podcast called Gears, Action, Growth where she discusses topics related to business culture and teams.
